Napa Kenpo
Kenpō from traditional Southern Chinese kung fu and other martial arts. It became the sought after martial art in the 1970's when many of the full contact champions were Kenpo trained.
Kenpo Karate is a system of martial arts which is characterized by the use of quick moves in rapid-fire succession with the intention of overwhelming an opponent. Specific targets and tactics are hit with the intention to end any situation quickly and to the desired degree of force.
Even to this day, Kenpō continues to be refined to work in modern day fighting scenarios. That is the goal of Kenpo at Main Street Martial Arts. It is constantly "tweaked" and upgraded based on industry research and practical application.
We focus on concepts and applications that will strengthen both the mind and the body bringing together a power greater than ones opponents.
When applied correctly, the techniques of Kenpo and our other martial arts, that we teach at our studio, can bring peace, harmony, and self-confidence in knowing that if the moment ever comes when you have to use it to save your, or a loved ones, life, you will be prepared.
