Main Street Martial Arts offers its students the ability to learn and grow in their mastery of their martial arts skill level under the instruction and supervision of such qualified individuals as:

Master Lance Meltzer, 5th Degree

Master Lance has owned and operated Main Street Martial Arts since 1998 to bring a martial arts studio & youth center to the Kids of Napa, and for their daughter, Chloe, a junior black belt.

Lance is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Kenpo, as well as a certified instructor in Jeet Kune Do, Haganah, Israeli tactical knife fighting & ground survival.

In 1990 they started Napa's first afterschool karate program. Over the years, Main Street Martial Arts has made a huge difference in many children's lives to have them be able to pursue martial arts in an after school program.

A retired Chiropractor, Lance is also the owner of Silver Lining Preschool in Napa. He teaches adult mixed martial arts (MMA) for the streets. Lance is also a facilitator for the Napa County Office of Education's ROPES COURSE.

 

Master Nick Christ, 4th Degree

Master Nick brings decades of martial arts and tournament experience to Main Street Martial Arts. He, and his wife, Brenda, have two sons (Niko & Tanner) whom are both junior black belts in martial arts.

Nick is a 4th Degree Black Belt and Main Street Martial Arts's senior Tae Kwon Do instructor. He is also a facilitator for teambuilding at the NCOE Ropes Course, and a former physical rehabilitation specialist.

Nick is a member of the California Unified Tae Kwon Do Association and the United States Tae Kwon Do Won.

Grand Master Doug is Main Street Martial Arts's Senior Kenpo instructor, and a Certified Master Instructor in Kenpo, Jeet Kune Do & Haganah.

When not instructing his students in martial arts at Main Street Martial Arts, you can find Doug instructing his students in math and science at Harvest Middle School.

Doug is an 10th Degree Black Belt and brings over 25 years of martial arts experience to Main Street Martial Arts. He is married and has 3 children, and has a college degree in exercise physiology.

Chris Thomas began his martial arts training in 1985 as a high school wrestler. He served 4 years in the Navy, 10 years working in the Napa County Department of Corrections and has spent 15 years studying and training himself, and others, in MMA and submission fighting.

Chris spent years with Napa Judo/Jujitsu and trained with the Shamrock Family as an instructor at the Lion's Den in Napa, training and fighting with some of the biggest names in the MMA game. Chris brings his expertise and knowledge to Main Street MMA in his endeavor to create his own "Ultimate Fighters".
